Oh I would have loved to have had this bear for St. Patrick's Day!!
I certainly wouldn't have been pinched!
You did a fantastic job Sharie!!
I wonder what Herbie would do if he saw this kitty!
My!!
Such beautiful color!!!!!
Such a happy little bear!!!
Well done.
Such a sweet face!
Very nice. :)
Makes we want a real one.
She's adorable Denise!
What does her name mean in Chinese?
Sounds like a really interesting and fun job Gail. :)
It reminds me of one of my favorite jokes since we are being funny here.
A census taker knocks on the door of a local house.
A man answers the door and she says "Hi there. I'm taking a census and if I could ask you just a few questions?"
the man replies "Sure"
"OK" "How many live in your house?" He replies "4"
"OK then, what is your annual income?"
He replies" Oh, around $ 50,000.00"
"Very good. And the age of the head of the house?" He replies "3 1/2" :))
Good luck to you Gail on your new job! And be sure to wear really good shoes!!!!
How very lucky for you and the horses to have found each other.
I rescued a Morgan not too long before I became ill. I had to give him up. I wish I could have given him to you!! :)
He was a show horse and just a love. His name is Dakota. My sister has him now but really didn't want him. She is good to him but just didn't want another horse. I miss him.
I had a whole tack box full of stuff plus a saddle, blanket the whole kit and caboodle that my sister didn't want. Man I wish I had known you were getting horse as I would have offered it to you. I gave it all away.
Oh!! I want one!!
Very interesting.
I'm surprised they didn't have him taxidermied instead of skinned and tanned. I would think that would be easier for people to except.
Do you?
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Maria for the info.
I too don't watch these kinds of shows, like American Idol. I don't even know if this one shows here in the States but I'm going to check.
Shane I'm going to go back and look for that girl you were talking about. I hope she (Susan) didn't see it but I'm sure this isn't the first time she has been mocked. At the end when she was backstage and crying over every one's response to her I couldn't help but feel she has not had a fair shake when it comes to her singing. Hopefully those days are over for her. She has a truly amazing voice. Seemed to be so effortless!! Bravo to her! I hope all her dreams come true.
Thanks Lynn!
I'll try to post again.
That's OK on the bunny. It looks like it's a multi colored one and I have never seen a wild one like that. I think when I feel a bit better than I do today I will research it on line and see what kind it might be.
Thanks again.
Me Too Carolynn!
I would love to have such a beautiful singing voice. Whenever I open my mouth to sing my family reminds me that I can just hum to the music!!
She has a wonderful voice.
Maybe someone should send Oprah the video!!
Good point Jane.
I guess if you don't wear a size 2 dress that is cut to your privates you are not concidered talented. Yet I don't recollect many Opera singers that are skinny. It's shameful the way this world for the most part views talent. I have to admit when I saw her the thought that came to my mind was, I sure would like to get a hold of her and color, highlight and cut her hair, shape her eyebrows and apply some makeup to help bring out her beauty. Before I became a dog groomer I use to groom people. I was a cosmetologist for a few years. I am far from being a beauty myself but I just wanted to reach out to her and make her feel special. When I saw her tears at the end of the video I had an overwhelming feeling that this was not the first time that she had been overly judged on her appearance. Thank goodness those who sat in judgement of her at this show saw her true talent once she sang.
And SHAME ON ME for thinking she is unhappy and in need of help with her looks.
She seems like such a sweet soul. I really do hope she wins.
Does the public get to vote for her? Does anyone know?
I too am not a watcher of this show but I was crying after 4 seconds into the video. It's hard to fathom with a voice like that she has never been given the opportunity to share it with the world. I don't know what this show is about really but I hope she wins whatever it is. What a light she is!!
Thank you for posting.
Thanks again everyone for you kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures.
Lynn I tried to post a comment on your blog and it wouldn't let me. :(
I loved your baby bunny pictures. Do you know what kind of rabbit it is?
Yes!!
Better late than never Tami! Thank you!
Funny how the one Corgi looks completely happy to wear the bunny ears yet his buddy the tri colored one seems not so enthralled!! Ha! Love it!
Oh I'm going to have to send this to my friend who raises Pugs!!
She's going to love it!
Thank you Jane,
I appreciate your concern.
You do a great job while Tami is away!
Thank you Sue Ann! I always look forward to this thread.
Thanks Guys! :)
The reason I'm trying not to make them too too tame is 2 years ago when I raised a single little male, all 9 other litter mates fell in my pool over night and drowned. I was only able to save the one, anyway when he became a "Big Boy" he wanted to mate with me. Since I wasn't going for it, I am a married woman after all! , he became very unhappy. :(
I'm hoping with the 3 this won't be an issue but watch them all be males!!!!!!!
I recieved a PM about the stick the apples are on. Just in case anyone is wondering I put the apples on the stick because there are rats on the slope and they come down and steal the pieces of apples leaving the bunnies none! So the stick keeps them from taking it.
Thanks for all your nice comments on Herbie too. He's my sweetheart and helps me care for the bunnies. I think they think he is a big bunny!
Hi Everyone.
I wanted to share some pictures of a litter of Cottontails I have been raising for a couple of months. Their mother abandoned them after a heavy rain storm and I have been caring for them ever since. I'm trying to not make them too hand tamed but they do let me pet their heads and they come when I call them for food.
Oh the last picture is of Herbie. He insisted on making a cameo appearance. :photo:
Happy Easter!!
Cyndee
I don't know anything about this machine but maybe Cathy does. You might ask her. If you really want a Featherweight you might reconsider one of Cathy's. I have bought 5 from her and she is really good about layaways. You know you won't get a lemon with Cathy. They are all in meticulous condition.
Seems wrong to me too Beth!!
What's the point waiting if pets are dropping dead and or getting sick! Makes no sense to me. Just makes me mad!
