I had that happen to a bear I made once. I ended up having to shade the area and a matching one on the other paw to hide it.
Nowadays I may just try to use preen oxyaction as it does an excellent job of removing alot of stains but I would try it on a scrap piece first.
good luck and let us know what happened
Daphne,
We often are our own harshest critics and I have made a couple of bears that I cringed when they were finished but they went to lovingg homes where they were thought of as absolutely adorable.
I think the three musketeers are lovely and definately nothing to be ashamed of.
This is St George the dragon. Made for my Nephew that is crazy about a rugby league team called St george whose colour and mascot is you guessed it!
He is made from Mohair, mini plush, 6 way jointed. His neck and tail are poseable.
If you want a little larger picture he is on my website and you just click on his thumb picture.
i don't know what full spectrum lighting is but in Australia we have light bulbs called daylight lights and it is really just like daylight. they are really fantastic.
I would have an l shape desk come off of the North wall so that you can walk behind it and face the stairs while designing and be side on while sewing (or vice versa).
The L shape wopuldn't look out of place coming off of the back wall if you don't want it to one side. a lot like an office set up. You could then also have open shelves or cupboards in the low eaves so you can set everything out and not waste that space at all.
I made my first two bears in 2001 and then I didn't make another until end of 2004, I started tweaking patterns fairly quickly and design followed on very quickly. I'm still surprised when people want to buy my bears.
The second one. Shows the detail of the dress and the expression on her face. the background doesn't allow the dress to blend at all with it so it shows it off well.
I was told by a photographer friend that you should never photogragh pale colours on white as you lose detail.
Yep Jazzyrags i saw the same programme at a show in Brisbane.
I have never sold at a show so speaking from a customer's point of view, I like to be able to browse. i like it when the vendor acknowledges me with a smile or a hello how are you today?
Then more often then not I like to be left to look. If I want to pick something up I often find an enquiring look or a quick can I pick this up. At that point I have it in my hands I like the vendor to chat to me about the bear and quite often that can lead to conversation about other things.
I prefer to see the vendor to the side of their diplay or easily accessible to talk to.
I know quite a few who have a stash of bags at the front and back of the table so if Idecide to buy they don't have to walk all the way around the tables and the other thing I noticed a lot do is the bags around the waist so money is with them.
No matter what you decide now you will change it for next time until you are happy with what is happening.
Oh Patsy he is really is lovely. You would have had cut his muzzle side pieces to get that effect. He looks great.

Hi Dilu long time no chat been missing you!
Anyway. I love my warm Xmases being able to go to the beach and swim and things like that. I had one cold xmas in Australia (it almost snowed) We went from 40 degree (c) temps where we lived to my MIL's place that was in Oberon (NSW Australia near BAthurst) which was about -1 degree (c).
I absolutely froze.
