Great rabbit, glad to meet you here. This is a great place to be. To learn and see so many wonderful bears and all kinds of animals. Also a place to chat with friends and to unload your mind sometimes. Or if you need some hugs for any reason, this is the place. WELCOME.

Great work as usual, I was wondering how big they were? They look big in the pics, but you talk about small discs and kotter pins. Just curious.
I love Meerkats and that fox is just grand. Thanx so much for sharing

That was so wonderful to watch, What a magnificent creature, so precise in the way he would wring out the rag. I thought the other one wanted a chance at it also , the first one wasn't giving up that wash cloth. Thanx for sharing.

I love the stories, here's one from NJ, we had a neighborhood chicken that has hung around from at least last fall. A week or so ago the hen disappeared. We have now seen a neighborhood fox, so we all know where the hen went.
She was so cute, even layed 8 eggs in my yard one day. The lady accross the street always fed that chicken. She has seen the fox also. There is a small strip of woods that runs behind the houses and there is so much wildlife there it isn't funny.
My daughter has seen at least 12 deer, also racoons, a possum died in my yard last week. Good ole city dwellers in New Jersey.

Great article Becky, loved reading it. I too someday will be in that catagory, but have to get more serious about making more bears. I do not make enough now to be noticed. But will try harder. Love all the same people in the article, they and you make such fabulous bears.

You would be surprised the fur coats that you can get at a thrift store or even at garage sales. Or try antique stores, I once had an artist say she did not pay over 100.00 for a used fur coat to make into bears. I have made two and it takes a lot of work, as the fur all has to be lined iwth muslin. But get a used fur and try, but not too old as it can be brittle and pull apart. Good Luck

Along time ago when I was first learning to make bears, in a book that I had they talked about watch the way you stuff the legs so they do not turn out like eqyptian legs they called it. so maybe it was a stuffing problem or the way you hold the leg to stuff it?? I do not know if this will help for the next one.
The bear looks great to me.

Love the pics, but can you make them bigger? I can hardly see the detail that makes them so cute. If not than thats ok too.
Thanx Pat
I do not know how you can make them so small. I can not do that since I have such big hands. Very nice bear. Thanx for sharing.

If only I could do feet like that, they are great. The whole bear is really great. That sweet knitted outfit. But the feet are so wonderful. Someday maybe I will learn how to do those kind of feet. Thanx for sharing
