I hope you are all making your bears for your bear swap. I have meant to put this topic back up for a while but  have been so busy around this place. But any how. The due date is 28th Feb. Some people have already finshed their swaps. Very quick, well done guys. So when you receive your bear please take a photo and put it up in this thread so we can all see the wonderful creations. And let us all know who you swapped with. Can't wait to see them all, very exciting.

i have to order everything from the net, No bears supplies her in Adelaide and the ones that are here I am better off ordering from oversea, even with the exchange rate and postage I am still saving. Spotlight near me has gone down hill and they have nothing. My nose thread size12 don't stock anymore. I went to find leather needles NO, they tried to tell me embroidery needles are the same. They have nothing.

I ordered $300Aud worth and it took about 10 days including weekends. I really didn't have to wait to long. Excellent customer service they have. Love their mohair to. My backing didn't go sticky but i use a cold dye system, so that maybe why not sure. and then I put them in the clothes dyer to fluff up. I love how shiny the mohair comes out and the colour results I got. You will be very pleased. I have to do another order very soon, as I have a show coming up.

My mohair on my website is Lou mohair and i dyed it with earth pallette dyes. Fantasic results.

When we send a item overseas we have to show ID, and they put a sticker on it to say Our Id has been recorded. So if its drugs or anything like that the other country will know who sent it and that person will been in huge trouble. Its a security measure.

Thanks so much everyone for your kind words and the support. It is very heartbreaking to see your child getting treated this way. She goes to a private catholic school, Its 6 boys and a girl who Annalise thought was her friend. 2 of the boys have been at her all year. Annalises grades have dropped this term as a result of the harassment. She even asked the school back mid year to change classes and they didn't. The head of the school can't believe that his staff had let this continue. She will be going the a girls middle catholic school 15 kms away, She will be in her 2nd year of high school. She has hopes and dreams for her future, and she said that she feels she won't excel at the school she is at now. She has a really good head on her shoulders and is very mature for her age. I'm not just saying that cos she is my daughter. I wish I could say it about my other children too, but they are not like Annalise, very different. The head of the school has said too that the staff were in the wrong and that the school will look at compensation. The students involved will be getting saturday detention and when Annalise goes back monday they have been told to not speck one single word to her or they will be suspended. She only has 2 weeks left of school but the head has said if she feels better not coming to school after Monday she doesn't have too. Its funny though, The 6 boys admitted to, what they done, the girl wouldn't. Even after I had a concern parent call me and say that this girl is bragging about what she has done, and this parent is best friends with the girls mother, even she rang the girls mother and told her what her daughter has been up too.

Kathy, Jane, Janice - I am so sorry to hear your children were victims of this type of behavior. It really is a horrible experience.

Hello all.
I would like to say sorry to everyone who has emailed me this week and I haven't gotten back to you. I have had pretty bad week. My poor daughter hasn't been at school for 2 weeks due to harassment. Its has been happening all year but now its out of hand. the school has never done anything for the whole year and now that we have had to make a police report they are now deciding to do something. The head of the school has not been advise about the whole year what has been happening even though it has been report many of times and my daughter had counselling. I have had to seek another school. We are getting legal advise to the extra cost of her going to another school including the transport as it 15 kms away from us and she will have to catch a school bus. I am so stressed out and have come out in a rash. Its disturbing. I haven't been able to catch up on my emails and hope too over the weekend, so sorry to anyone that has emailed me.

I have opened my Etsy shop. LONG PROCESS and still going, But I have had more looking in the last day its been open than I do on EBAY.  I get heaps of traffic on bearpile too. Just thought I would let you all know, if you were wondering what both sites are like.

VICKI - Etsy do have a Bear artist section. Under dolls just like Ebay

What I am finding that works for me. I use bearpile and have sold so many from there, Even if the bear is on ebay at the time. I have directed the buyer to ebay and they purchased. I have had people buying from my site generally from bearpile. I am in the process of opening a Etsy shop. I have had enough of ebay myself, But I still like to put a bear up there now and then to get the exposure, Over the last 6 months, the bears that have sold off ebay those customers have rebought from me on my site and custom orders. My email list is getting larger and it has been a good year for me so far, after taking 2 - 3 years off and basically starting all over again. I will just be doing what I feel right for my business, even if it selling on ebay now and then or another bear auction site. Yes I have had my probelms with Ebay too.

Yes when the first one is finished I want that person to email me so i can start a thread in one of the sections, so we can see everyones swap. That will be great.

Ok I listed all names in sections on paper, uneven number in sections, all day I went over and over everyones emails and over and over everyones pics and sites, to try and find a way of getting a even number in sections. I had to change the sizing of sections a little only by 1". I really couldn't take in to consideration of what you collect, that was hard, It was luck of the draw, as I put all your names on little pieces of paper and pulled them out of a bowl, SO I hope everyone is happy and they enjoy there swap.

YIKES Linda A tiger snake in the house. We live next to a paddock and on the other side is wetlands. We see the brownsnakes crossing the road to get to the wetsland. I have never seen one in our yard or in our house, I would freck. I just freck at a sight of a mouse.

We had that happen when I was 8 years and traveling around aus with a caravan and my parents. We had to go over it. we were at the top of Qld. I still tell my kids about it today.
