Good luck Sheryl, make sure not to put to much pressure on yourself. It's best to take small steps, to much on a plate and nothing gets accomplished.  I know you can do it, just don't want to see you get frustrated or stressed .

Well I'm glad at least you have an answer to all the problems. Now the road to recovery starts, just one day at a time but at least it's not fatal and you can relax a bit knowing what it is.

All the best in your recovery .

I think you will fit in here just fine, this is a place for any teddy bear artist no matter what their medium is. I think this bear is stunning and very unique , I also can't wait to see more.

Thanks Gijzette, not sure how I missed that show. Rick Mercer is such a funny man, but those baby bears were so adorable you can see why you would want to keep one .

I was thinking the same thing Karen, I mean once they have the finished product they already have the pattern. I agree that should have been negotiated up front. Hopefully they are honourable people. If they are going to mass produce these, then it's a tough call. I mean it is your pattern although it's their idea I would want a fair price for the pattern.

Good luck

Well I only come on the computer usually in the evening. Once I am home from work I sit and work on bears or other stuff . Then I spend about one hour on the computer catching up on Facebook and on here. Now on facebook I am not that active. I will read most peoples post and sometimes add a comment. But I don't spend a great deal of time looking at everything. I check Teddy Talk and scoot through the photo's of new bears and see what is going on. Again I don't always comment which I know is bad but I just don't have the time to comment on all the post. You just have to divy up you time the best you can. Sitting at the computer is very hard on a person's body so best to do it in short time frames anyway.

Adorable Tracy I am sure they will be snapped up in no time. WOW

Pretty impressive work I must say. I'm assuming she's not using normal crochet thread to make these  . I would love to see the size of the crochet hook she is using, the stitches are a pretty good size. Interesting the choice of stitching she is doing, it's adds so much to design work of the lions. I would dare to say that there is likely some structures inside the sculptures to give them some stability or some form of framework to support the work.

Good luck to her, her work is amazing.

Little Bear Guy

Very sweet, love the eyes and that hat is fantastic wow.

Good luck with him

I use a glass eye actually, I sink it into the clay at the back usually just one of the small ones like a 3mm or 4mm. That way I know it's not gonna move and there is no chance of the fire breaking free and popping out.

I still use a little glue on the back of the nose prior  putting the nose on.  I insert the nose and make sure it's placement is perfect then just pull it back a little and add some glue and then slide it into place.

good luck

He Canada we can get a smoke remover that comes in a container and inside is a large sponge full of something LOL. You just open the container in a room and it removes the smoke smell from the room. The sponge attracts the smoke and traps it. I don't know if the sponge has an actual smell to it or not. But wondering if something like that might work as well.   I did a google search and found these, sounds like they are very similar to the ones we get here.  http://www.thebadairsponge.com/smoke_odor_remover.html

Sounds like it might help

We use to have our telephone number on our website but had to remove it, we started getting harassing phone calls in the middle of the night and threatening ones as well. We did have to contact the police at one time as we had a very threatening phone call from a Red Neck from Kentucky (mountain folk I assume) lol  no offense to anyone from Kentucky or hill folk .

I like h is feet a lot, I think claws would not have been as nice on him would really take away from the cuddleness of him.

Great job.
