Such sad news about Winney,
I am listening to a song by Moby called "why does my heart feel so bad"  I feel is a fitting tribute at  this time.
I enjoyed Winney's posts and she will be missed.

Hugs to Winney’s family

Yes I am so pleased my collector liked Lucy, it is always so difficult to recreate what someone else has in their mind, I had to hand dye the peach as I didn't have any. I worried it would be too deep but the result was good! hugs Kerren

(Hi Kerren, Lucy is beautiful I am very pleased, hubby had to go get her for me from the sorting office as we missed the van this morning had to go shopping straight from work. Love and best wishes)

Hi Paula,
I am perhaps too late, but here goes I buy the small tins of dylon dye and have a very large pan actually my old pressure cooker with out the lid! Completely wet the mohair before putting it in the pan,. Fill the pan with water boil the water up then put the dye in and loads of salt. The salt fixes the dye, then put the mohair in agitating it to get a good even coverage then simmer for a very short while or the mohair will go all matted and useless then turn the heat off all together. Leave the dye to cool down, then put the mohair in a smalls laundry bag. Put it on the rinse and spin cycle of your washing machine with a little fabric conditioner. When it comes out brush it with a soft hairbrush so the pile is going in the right direction and hope fully you will have lovely navy alpaca. Don’t cut the pieces out first as it will shrink and fray it a fat quarter normally shrinks about an inch all round.
Hope this helps hugs Kerren

Thanks girls, Lisa your daughters are beautiful, I bet they keep you busy. I have eight years between Adele and her sister then a seven year gap again between , so one 24, one 16 and one 10.
The twins are due in December so Adele is only about 15 weeks now. They will have another scan at 20/22 weeks then they may find out if they are boys girls or one of each. One of each would be nice!
But it doesn’t matter as long as they are healthy.

Hi All,
I thought it time I shared my good news with you all, I am going to be a
grandma to twins!
my eldest daughter Adele and hubby James, are expecting.

They went for the scan on Thursday and the technician said "how would you
feel about twins" and Adele burst in to tears. I think it was such a big
shock for her. but she seems to have taken the news well and is now very
excited.
they have been out looking at prams and baby things.
Bye for now,

Hugs Kerren

as long as her card checks out and all is passed i don't mind sending to the po box.
the card machine checks all the details and then says they all match and if
you want to carry on with the transaction you can, or if not all details
match you can terminate the transaction, it is up to you but if they don't
all match you could loose the payment, if the card is lost or stolen and you
also loose your bears!

Do I worry too much?
I have a buyer for two of my bears from bear pile. I want to trust every one and I am sure my buyer is genuine. But the credit card machine insists I enter the credit card number, start date expiery date, house number and post/zip code plus the last three digits on the back of the card.
The lovely lady emailed me her details in five emails, but she has sent me a PO box for her bears to be deliverd to in USA.
I know for a fact I need her postal address for the card to be accepted, I am also sure the credit card comply insist I post the bears to the card holders address too for security. I feel so nervous when posting bears I don't want to loose my buyer but want all to be ok. I would hate to loose my bears. I would rather keep them.
Am I right to be cautious?

Hi Paula,
I saw your beautiful bear on ebay and thought how can she part with such a gorgeous bear!
About 2 years ago I had a collector ask me to re produce a one of a kind bear, I said I cannot do that its one of a kind. The collector begged me so i made her something-similar different size and I did the colouring different. A couple of months back that bear was on ebay. I don't know what was worse though the fact it was on ebay or the fact it didn't make its reserve!

I have had a few of these orders through email from Nigeria. like you say they don't refer to a bear by name it is your "product" and I want 20 of each product, and they say do you take credit cards.
It’s very nasty.

Hi All,
I have been a member of ebay.co.uk about three years I have never bought any thing I have listed three bears but non of them had any bids, one was mine the other two from my collection, so I have never sold anything either.
my dilemma is I want to sell some bears, but don't want to sell them for silly prices, I would rather keep them for the fairs than give them away.
I know I can use the same password and logg in name, my question is if I put them on ebay .com do I have to register again or can I use all my existing bank details and credit card? also will it show up on ebay .co.uk or do I have to fill the details out twice and pay two sets of fees?

Hi Shelli,
Good for you, keep your chin up ignore the gossips! things are tough for most of us at the moment.
Like you I love making bears and I couldn't ever give up, I still need to do other non-beary things too.
I have had time out to sort my home and garden, photos of garden to follow.
my daughter is taking  exams too and life can get tiring and hectic.
We cannot all run on super duper mode all the time!
