What stitch do you use? Do you need to go over it twice? I have always sewn my bears with the machine but was going to work on something much smaller..........

I have been wanting to try it, but had a few questions about how to do it and what wax to use since it is going over needle felting? Does it look nice like the thread noses after being waxed and does it hold up?...........thanks in advance!
