Hi all
I am hoping someone can help me out with this one, I am going to make some wedding bears for my husbands Aunty who is getting married, she is 80
I want to do one wearing a lilac 2 peice suit- skirt and short sleeved jacket, probably no collar, and a mans suit - jacket , trousers, shirt and tie but have no idea how to do the mans suit and shirt could anyone possibly please point me in the direction of a pattern suitable for a 6" bear, or a bigger one so i can see how it's done and i can hopefully adapt it.
Many thanks

Hi all
I have seen some wonderful photos done by many artists but I am a bit stuck on how to add effects to my pictures. Softened edges, bubbles etc etc, I have tried looking in paint shop pro but can't find anything there, could anyone please tell me which programmes they use or how it's done?

oh wow, i re-joined just in time for this thread I have a show in just over a week it has helped me put my list of to do's together
Thanks girls, this is fab
i have tried my hair clippers today for the first time and they seem to work ok on short mohair but not so good on long, but need more practice i think, i normally use scissors.
anyway, it's way past my bed time and my eyes are drooping, off to have more beary dreams.
hugs
wow some of you are so quick, it takes me on average 3-4 days to complete a bear, not including design, i find the stuffing takes the longest time, that in itself can take a day, but then in that time i am doing all the other chores too, but i guess it's one per week for me, ...ooh isn't life busy:)
Hi Dilu
I have only been making mohair bears for a year and have done 36, so not sure what my average would be, with family life and having Endometriosis I can't spend as much time as i would like on them.
The first thing i do is design a pattern or at least have an idea and then look for the mohair i think would suit it, or sometimes the other way round if i go to a fair and get tempted to buy lots of mohair:lol: as for all the other bits, i have a good supply and then top up when i need to, and spend hrs on the net looking for new bits and bobs which is all part of the fun of it.
