Hans is wonderful and as I am a little late picking up this thread it looks like he has sold so well done with your first ebay sale I've never plucked up the courage to have a go on their myself! I made a bear in the same brown Alpaca (I think) it is so lovely and soft Hans must be a very cuddly fellow

Ralphie is a bit of a forager as he likes to go digging for truffles that way he can sell them on for a ton of cash and then he can splash out on some real bear gold. And in case you are wondering what bear gold is - well in Ralphie’s case it’s a very sizeable catering jar of honey.’ Why don’t you just forage for honey in the first place?’ I ask. ‘Truffles are a walk in the park to sniff out and dig up. There‘s no messing about inching your way along perilously bendy branches plus this way I don’t get my nose stung either’ You have to admire his gumption.
Thank you for looking
Thank you Pink, Becky, Renee, Peter, Thelma, Churton M and Jen He's off to Switzerland so maybe will get Chocolate for breakfast too!
how lovely!
Awww he looks like he could do with a jumper knitting .....
Nice haul Obviously they were meant to be yours
Unlike Goldilocks and the three bears Richard isn’t that bothered about porridge. He would much rather have hot buttered toast and jam. Well actually he would rather have a full cooked breakfast, toast and jam, honey nut cornflakes and for good measure some fresh fruit as he likes to be a bit healthy. A bear can be extremely busy and need a proper start in the morning, it can use up a lot of energy being so lovable and available for hugs night and day.
Thank you for looking and its Great to be back to the bears

Oh yes I feel like that over every bear You'd think I would get use to it by now but nope always the same happy /sad moment as I cover their little face in the packing bag. He is a very lovely bear and can totally understand why you are so attached, be proud that you made him
michelle
That's an unusual one have you tried googling vintage bottle feed / feed and poop/ teddy bears? Regardless he is quite a handsome chap and EJ he has the same Paddington plastic nose. Good Luck
Thank you for the valuable advice and input. It is good to hear some positive sides to commission work. Peter as always you have provided me with helpful pointers and as SueAnn mentioned is great to get the collectors point of view. Timing for me I think could definitely an issue and following your comments think it would be wise to work out some kind of plan/T&C that I can email and then both sides have a good understanding how it will work and give an opportunity to iron out any niggles before hand.
Becky that is very interesting what you mentioned with regard to being pushed creatively - something I hadn't considered and again another positive. It sounds like you have found a good balance which is something I would like to aim for
