Huge congratulations to you, Marie.  Well deserved  ! ! !  Maybe Marie from Kirpie Bears, a fellow TT'er here, can translate for you.  I'll bet she even subscribes.

I just bought some graphics from this site:    http://www.blushbutter.com/

She has some really cool graphics. You do have to pay for them, but then you can use them however you want.  I should say mostly how you want.  You have to read the fine print.  Some are not for commercial use.

You've been a busy girl ! ! !  They are both adorable.

She's stunning, Aerianna.  I can't wait to see her.  (And you too.)

Sorry 'bout that, Daphne.  This is a good reason for backing up with Mozy, though.

That's the lowest of the low.  Not even pond scum.  Pond dredge, or what ever is on the bottom of the pond, that's what they are.  bear_angry  bear_angry  bear_angry

Daphne, I bought a 500 GB WD My Book external hard drive at Circuit City for $129.  I had already filled up the 160 GB ext hard drive I had.  But I almost feel like I have to back those up tool.  What if they die?

We have a local access TV station in our community.  I do video editing for them.  I brought an ext hard drive home to edit a show and it died with all the video on it.  They had to re-shoot the show.

I bought some on Ebay but if you do a google search, you'll find in on several websites.

I haven't used it yet, but I was wondering . . . how do you attach it to the bear?  Does it stick to the mohair if you apply it before it sets up?  Do you insert wire to sew it to the bear? or do you make small holes to sew it to the bear?  I don't want to use any glue.  So, I was wondering how others do this.

Daphne, yesterday I saw software at Fry's Electronics store made especially for retrieving lost photos.  I don't know if it would work if your computer is dead.

Also, I use Mozy back-up service. www.mozy.com I don't remember how much it cost but it wasn't much.  Your computer connects to Mozy automatically on a schedule and backs up your files on their gigantic server.  If your computer dies, you just connect to their website and "restore files".  It doesn't back up external hard drives, though.  I wish it did because that's where I store all my photos.  They say they are working on it.  But you could move your ext. hard drive photos to your computer, back up, then move them back.  Hmmm... I might do that.

That was my first reaction too, Melanie . . . Ewwww, bear slobber.     lol   But, great pic.

Yes, it is difficult.  My cousin, who has an alpaca farm in Kentucky, sent me a huge bagful.  I think the fur from an entire animal.  It feels soooo soft but not too good for needle felting.  I sent about half of it to Charlotte and she spun it and knitted a purse.  That turned out beautiful.

I'm working on this right now as hubster is finally finishing the room we've been using for storage up until now.  It's 23 by 16 so I'll probably put my desks and things at the far end of the room in front of the window with a lake view, and my exercise equipment in the other end.  Maybe I'll take a treadmill break while making my bears, huh?  Ya think?

My problem is that there won't be a closet in this room.  When we sell the house (which we are doing this year) we'll describe this room as a media/game/exercise room.  So, I'll be walking back and forth to the bedroom, which is now my sewing room, for supplies.  I'll keep the essentials near my desk, though.  Also, I'm going to have to keep it neat and tidy because our house will be on the market.  Eeeek, that won't be easy for me.  I'm a very messy worker.
