Thanks very much Lisa and Thelma. I have been feeling quite low...lacking confidence, so your comments have really cheered me up!

Many thanks Becky and Peter. Sorry to hear you won't be at Hugglets, Peter. We WILL meet one day!
So much still to do before Sunday...so little time!

The bears are ready for Hugglets on Sunday. I will be in Hall 4 (upstairs) and would love to see some TTers, so please come and say hi! The bears are: from top to bottom: Matilda, Hamish, Rollo (standing clown), Julius, Chance, Jonty and the three little bears in curly mohair are Toffee, Pumpkin and Autumn. I will be bringing a few more, but the light isn't good enough to photograph them.

What a lovely collection! I hope I will see them in the fur on Sunday!

What a lovely hug! They're all so cute I can't pick out a favourite!
Hi Linda
Thank you for your kind comments. He's about 16 inches nose to tail when standing with head up...more if he is stretched out.

They are REAL characters...just great! I hope I get to see them in the fur on Sunday!
Thank you all - Heidi, Susana, Hans, Andrea and Richard for your lovely comments. They mean a lot to me!

Thanks for sharing...wonderful to see!
Many thanks Thelma and Peter.
Locline is certainly great for a naturalistic pose. I bought some from the US about two years ago, then didn't have the nerve to try it. I think I would certainly use it again for bears on all fours.
Lots of hugs

Thank you Becky. He's my entry for the Brtitish Bear Awards Realistic category this year. I really enjoyed making him!
Thanks SO much Joanne! I keep plugging away, trying to improve and refine my 4 legged bear pattern ( and I can't resist polar bears).

I have just finished this fellow. He has a locline neck and spine and jointed, wired limbs. I've had great fun posing him! His name is Pakak. I believe it is Inuit for 'into mischief'.

I can see why you wouldn't want to part with him. He's a delight.
Superb work, Lisa!
I love girly bears that are unfussy and she ticks all the boxes! She looks a fabulous cuddle.

She's a treasure! I can see how much work has been put into her! A virtuoso little bear!
What a wonderful character! He would make a great TV character for children's television.
He is wonderful, Catherine! He looks to be a lovely, gentle little fellow.
Hi Joanne
Lovely, happy photo. There's nothing better than time to talk about teddies!
We have just seen film of a huge sandstorm moving over Phoenix on the BBC. I really hope that it hasn't done any damage and you have been able to keep the sand out of the house!
Very best wishes
Sue
Thanks very much Donna and Paula. I will certainly try Donna's method. It sounds just what I have been looking for!

Very many congratulations to all the winners!
Many thanks, Katy, Lenora and Bobbie. I haven't had a problem thus far, but have noticed some slight movement on some vintage bears in my collection ie. my old Steiff Teddy Baby. I use very thick card cut with a craft knife to the same dimensions as the sewing line on the paw pads. I just wondered if anyone knew of a method of ensuring the card cannot move. In actual fact, looking again at my dear Teddy Baby, it looks like the felt pad was designed fit snug at the back and larger at the front to give a lip of felt around the front of the foot...not sure if this was meant to happen or the result of dodgy sewing?
Regards
Sue
