Well, I know this isn't a Teddy Bear, so I didn't put him in the bears for sale section, but I wanted to show you all a sculpture I've been working on for Valentine's Day. I know I know, not your typical Valentine's Day warm fuzzy, but when I thought of that smooching, lovey dovey holiday, I thought of the Frog Prince. So I made my version of him... hand to his heart, ready to serenade, all decked out in his finest froggy apparel (what the heck would someone in the swamp wear, anyway?!?! lol), hoping for that magical smooch from his beautiful princess. OK, I'll quit rambling; I hope you like him! He'll be listed on eBay next week, by the way, and I think I'm going to redo his pics, as I think he needs to be perched upon a rock or lily pad of some sort... hee hee

Kimberly, your frog prince is absolutely amazing, I mean really amazing. He looks like he just jumped out of the pond and is going to speak to me.
Fabulous Kim.
OHHOHOHOH!!!! Kimberly you have out done yourself. I am sooo partial to frogs that this one makes me quite envious. You have left me speechless, I really dont know how to say how marvelous I think he is.

Wowie zowie!! Your frog prince is spectacular! How did you get his skin to look moist and shimmery like that? Incredible work. Truly.

Thank you ladies sooooo much! I haven't made a frog since I was in high school, so your input on him is so very much appreciated!
I wanted him to have that 'deboniar' look about him, I hope I did that well.... ?!?!?! lol I'm also working on a lily pad for him right now, since he really needs a base or something...
Aleta, I got that 'wet look' with a combination of two techniques, one of which is a special glaze (not a clearcoat) that can or will actually 'puddle' if I lay it on right for moisture around the eyes or a tear or a droplet etc....
