My hubbie and I went to Australia in Nov and I came back totally inspired to make a koala. Here is is... chubby little fellow huh? He will be for sale at the Nevada City bear show.
He needs a name though and I can't come up with one. Any ideas?
Aeri
how about Karbor??, according to wikipedia it the aborigines in the murray regions name for koala
other Aboriginal names for Koalas include: Bangaroos, Koolewongs, Narnagoons and Colos,Cullawines, gula
I reckon he looks more like a 'Warren' Natty. hahaha you hang out at Wikipedia as well aye???
Alll you need now Aerianna is a' Matilda' Koala.(big cheeky grin happening here)

I love him
Shhhhh...don't tell anyone but I loved koalas much more than teddies when I was little. I'm no good on the name front - my two koalas were named kali and baby fuzz
He's incredible! wow, so real............
Thank you for your suggestions! I was torn between Warren and Karbor. To be honest, my love for Warren Beatty won out!
Aeri
I think Warren is perfect for him Aeri!
He is wonderful......love those sleepy eyes he has!!
So cute. Waren is a nice name. If you want something aboriginal, up aboriginal names on the internet. I bet you could find some ideas there.
I have a siamese cat. He is very regal and elegant looking (he is the standard siamese, not the apple face people are use to). I named him Dara. "Dara" means "star" in Siamese. And he is my little "star".
WARREN aye?
Is Matilda on the way?

Wonderful little koala and you have captured the sleepy eyes very well.
I could not get over how they seem to spend all day fast asleep, and not fall out of the trees,
they are perched on.
Hugs
