This morning I got up early , started my lasagna for my dinner tonight with my sons and after i rinsed the noodles I dropped all of them in the sink !! I had to go to the store for more !!! But it is ready now to pop in the oven later, In about 15 minutes I have to clean my house a little, then shower and rest up a little for our Easter dinner at 6 PM. But I have been visiting forums today I must admit, getting caught up.

Jodi, you're a far better wife and mother than I can ever hope to be.  I'd eat your rescued-from-the-disposal lasagna noodles anyday, woman!

I agree, I would have used the same noodles!!   bear_whistle
If the sink is clean, and ya shock the noodles anyways, why not?
(shock = rinse in cold water to stop the cooking process)

I would have used the noodles as well, but then I would proceed to tell everyone what I did after they had eaten the lasanga  bear_rolleyes .  At least you didnt' drop them on the floor , I think at that point I would have thrown them out  (hmmm but with men there is that 5 second rule so if I had been able to scoop them back up within that time frame then they would have still been usable)

5 second rule?     My kids used to say that when they dropped a bit of cookie on the floor and went scrambling after it!

   Yep that's the rule, as long as it hasn't been on the floor for longer than 5 seconds it's still edible, usually only us boys follow that rule though  bear_grin

Guess I'm a boy at heart!! I follow the five second rule too. Or maybe I'm just a klutz who likes my food too much to let it go to waste! bear_tongue

I love to eat chips and salsa and there was a commercial for salsa in which a woman drops some on her shoe and excuses herself to go lick it off. My hubby cracked up when he saw that. "You would do that wouldn't you!"he said. Of course I wouldn't!! But it might cross my mind!!
