It has been raining all week and a seed bell broke in half. I placed the halfs on the chair so it wouldnt get soaked and so the birds could get it easily.
This is what I awoke to this morning......
firstly two red-capped parrots. actually there are more all over the garden but this lot I caught on the chair
Then some 28's decide they want a feed as well. Again there were more but I was only wanting to capture what happened on the chair.
This is outside the backdoor. I have no idea how the other half of the seed bell got there
This I couldnt resist. The turtledove was all hanked down against the mistyrain. I think he woke up when the redcap joined him.
Ok thats my Sunday morning........... Have a wonderful day everyone
What beautiful birdies ! ! ! !
I just love your gardens and your birdies! To us in Canada... we could only dream of such pretty ones in nature. We have friends who have them in cages..but not the same..... A robin is about as colourful as we get I think where I am.. well..the occasional hummingbird.. but those parrots would be just amazing to see in a garden! Love all your pics...
Thanks for sharing your beautiful visitors with us again. What a wonderful and pretty sight to get up to on a Sunday morning. I got up to rain and one scraggy old crow walking by our garden pond.
Hugs Jane.
How lucky you are to have them come to your garden. I would never be away from the window, its great!
