Safe at last – our Tam Dao family has grown to five
Dear Lynette,
Great news! Because of you and your ongoing faith and support, two beautiful Moon Bears are now safe and sound at last in their new home at our Sanctuary in Vietnam.
These two gorgeous girls have spent almost four years in a cramped cage in the care of the Forest Protection Department after being rescued from smugglers.
Thankfully the FPD officers realised they could not provide the proper care the bears needed, so asked if we could take them at our new Moon Bear Rescue Centre near Hanoi. Of course, we said yes, and now the three mischievous cubs that joined us in June have two foster mums!

Soon I hope to be sending you more exciting news from Vietnam - the start of our major rescue will see a group of lucky bears enjoying freedom from years of suffering and torment on the farms.
