Happy Little SoulsI haven't heard that term used often, but I think it is the seam that is formed when joining the side head pieces together from the nose tip to the neck (or adams apple position for ease of reference) which gives a teddy his "chin" or really the bottom of his muzzle.
You then sew in your gusset into place.
Let me know if that explains it, if not I can always take a picture of a head in progress or maybe someone has one in their files already!
