Well I guess it's good news and bad news day.  We got a notice in the mail that hubby's income tax deduction for moving expenses was being reviewed for 2006, and we would have to complete another full moving form, and have all our receipts copied and notarized.  I'm sure they are doing it because we didn't get reimbursed for the move, and most companies will reimburse for that.  In our case, it was our choice to move, so the company didn't pick up any of our expenses.   I did the form in a hurry, as I had left it to the last minute (as always) and filed it over the phone, just claiming the basic moving costs.  That was the bad news.

The good news is when I downloaded the full moving expense form from their site, I found out I can claim a ton of things that I didn't put on our original tax form!  I've arranged to have all our copies notarized and after re-doing our taxes, it means a HUGE FAT refund for us, and it should be here by Christmas! I am over the moon - I bet they end up wishing they had left us alone.

     The name is so familiar but I don't know many of the Ontario bear people.  Did she have anything to do with Good Bears of the World?  That's sad to hear we have lost another bear person.
