Awww! How cute, he is a Golden Lion Tamarin, also known as the golden lion marmoset. They are small, squirrel-sized mammal with a lion-like mane. Tamarins live in small family groups. and t.hey are most active during the day. During the night, the Golden Lion Tamarins rest in the cavity of a tree. Their life span is about 15 years. They are in danger of extinction due to loss of habitat as their forest home is being cleared. They live in coastal tropical rainforests in eastern Brazil, South America.
