Here is my new baby--my 11 month old MINI-labradoodle- named Mattie! (short for Matilda)She is the sweetest and smartest pup we have ever had. Can you see those blonde streaks in her red hair?  She looks like she spent the day at the hairdressers.
If you are wondering--her dad is a red minipoodle and her mom is a full sized red labrador retriever. The Red color in labs is more like a dark yellow lab. This little beauty will be having pups too when she is old enough--we are hoping for more reds! Mattie weighs 32 pounds, so she really is a small size--like a cocker spaniel, but a bit taller.

A gorgeous pup, Ginny!  But I have to wonder . . . the dad is a MINIpoodle and mom is a full-sized lab?  Not trying to get specific, but how'd that happen?

Hi SueAnn,
I was thinking exactly the same thing - did some one get him a step ladder     Gorgeous puppy though, however it happened.

She is gorgeous. I so love looking at photos of pets. Pets are wonderful. I love dogs, but, I am a cat person (I have 4 cats, or rather, they have ME. lol lol)

Mattie is beautiful and she looks very happy to be at her new home.

Bear hugs,
Cathie

Ginnie, Mattie is beautiful. I've always fancied having a labradoodle, no hair everywhere as well as having a really cute furry friend.  bear_thumb  bear_thumb  bear_thumb

    I guess many of us have our minds in the same place!! Yes, a mini poodle and a full size lab would have a bit of an issue! The breeders use artificial insemination these days--they have been having all kinds of "fun" putting dogs of the two breeds together to see what they can get. Sometimes it is a pretty result (like my Mattie! bear_wub ) and sometimes...well, there are some pretty strange-looking labradoodles out there.
Thanks for looking at my pictures! Ginny
