For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
For any of you who put out a kit line, or like to be very organized in your workroom/storage, (unlike me who's been searching for sets of eyes I 'saw' 2 weeks ago, somewhere... and wanted today...) I'm sure you've all invested in small zip baggies. About 1" x 2" and 2" x 3", etc.
Well, drugs are so rampant across all class lines, and are usually packaged for sale in these small sizes - they want a ruling that outlaws the sale of the small baggies.
Crazy, no!??
Good Grief that's insane. Assault weapons, sure they're fine....little baggies, no. It's like our society has morphed into the Mad Hatters Tea Party. It's just totally insane anymore.

Good Grief that's insane. Assault weapons, sure they're fine....little baggies, no. It's just totally insane anymore.
I couldn't agree more!
OMGosh - no kidding! Nuts, nuts, nuts!
hugs,
Brenda
Wow, maybe we better stock up on them!
I guess you could still get them online???
Crazy, no!??
Crazy, yes!
Hugs, Jane.
yeah....like if they couldn't find the baggies the drug problem would go away?

Hey that should stop drug use! RIGHT! Stupider and stupider!! Pam
    Oh me . . . politicians!
Now that's ridiculous!!!
World's definitely gone mad!!!
That is pretty funny.. lol..... so what on earth will the drug dealers ever do if they can't get little baggies. *sigh* "Gee, now that we can't get bags... well I guess we can't sell drugs anymore".lol
The Canadian government better not hear of that one.. they would just put a tax on little bags and use the money to "support drug programs" but usually that money just ends up in general revenue.. they end the programs and keep the money.
Bah! forgive my little rant.. lol. I just wonder how people think somedays... maybe they thing only druggies use little bags??? lol... like who else would need bags that small..
Hugs!
Melanie
Completely insane! I've heard of that same "issue" before. I bought a HUGE box of tiny baggies from our party supply/stationary store a couple of years ago, and the lady flat out asked me... "So, what do you DO with these?" I told her that I was a bear maker and used them for a number of things- pattern storage, keeping charms and beads, etc.... She said that the police had asked her to report (off the record) any "suspicious" / bulk sales of itty bitty baggies! NUTS!!!!
Kim Basta
Oh my gosh that's NUTS!!!!!
Bobbie, do you know if that's just in the City proper? Are we safe in the 'burbs?
Hobby Lobby carries TONS of these in their jewelry section.
Bobbie, what do ya say you and me to pay a visit to "Hizzoner, Jr"?
It's such a joke! It's the old argument of should we restrict the sales of guns, or let everyone buy guns but not sell ammo w/o a license.
There's no way that this would ever even make it 'out of committee'. 'Hizzoner' Jr, has some hare-brained ideas or lets his cohorts put up stuff like this. We'll probably never hear about it again.
LL, let's just save ourselves the gas for driving and the parking fees downtown and each send him a bear - in pieces - in little zip baggies!!
(And we'd all better be keeping a close eye on Kim, you know how subversive she is!!! LOL) Sorry K, couldn't resist!
