I loved the idea of a show competition when Samantha suggested it for the 'Teddy Bear Artist Event of 2008'! 'Four Seasons' as a theme, seemed such a good idea and the perfect way to add even more interest to what promises to be a wonderful day. So, I put my thinking cap on and ... pondered ... then I pondered some more. As a maker of big bears, theming isn't really my thing, but I was determined to take part! Then the lemon mohair caught my eye and I knew I'd be able to come up with an entry. Phew!

So, this is 'Primrose and her duckling', all ready for their big day out on June 8th! They will be entered into the 'Spring' category of Samantha's competition. According to the website, there are lots of entries, so we shall have a whole heap of fun, fun, fun!!! :dance:

Hey, thank you all!!!! I'm so pleased Primrose made you smile. The mohair is Schulte kid of course ... and it's a glorious lemon colour! You can't see from the pics, but I've given her pretty 'Spring green' velvet/silk paw pads.

She is really beautful Paula, good luck with the show, although I don't think you will have any problems selling your wonderful collection of bears that you will be taking with you.
