The second attempt at cloth doll making.... what a goofy fella!!!
Look at that hair! I've given him 2 haircuts already! And those pants.... the third pair I made and they still aren't right.
The doll and the clothes are my own design this time. I'd been wondering why most cloth dolls were girls.... now I know... it's the hair! And dresses are easier than pants and a shirt, suspenders, overalls, etc. In my opinion anyway!
I do like embroidering the faces though. I tried painting one on but my hand isn't steady enough to do a mouth.
I think I'd better stick to bears!!
Now Daphne, he's cute! Actually, he kinda looks like my neighbor....hahahaha Susie
He's really cute Daphne, I think you have done a nice job. Perhaps for boy dolls they should have just a little tuft in the middle of their head (just a thought for the next boy you make )
big hugs
Shane
I really like him . . . he's mischievous cute!
Too, too cute, Daphne. He wonderful and like Sue Ann said, looking a bit like a mischievous scamp.
Daphne, he's really cute! Don't go hanging up your doll needles just yet!!
Dont be so hard on yourself, he really is an adorable little guy. Great job!

He's glad somebody likes him!!
Shane - I agree with you about the smaller tuft of hair. I did that on the first boy I made (which no one will ever see) and he looked like a punk rocker!!
I have more work to do..... no Debora, not hanging up the doll needles just yet!
I'm afraid dollmaking is going to prove addictive...somewhat like bears!
