Slinky is my newest adoption. He is a Mini Rex, about 1 year old. He has not been abused, neglected or starved. His owners just couldn't keep him any longer and they handled the situation the right way. So I took Slinky in. He is super sweet, and Rex rabbits are my absolute favorite. He seems very happy to join my zoo.
What a sweety and bless you for adopting him!
Millie,
What a doll! I'm sure he's thrilled about having a loving new home. What is the count for animals at your house now !
hugs.
Brenda
Brenda, I'm not sure if I can count that high.
Cats - approx. 20
Dogs-4
horses-3
rabbits-2
ducks-5
1 very old turkey
many chickens
I'm probably forgetting someone.
Slinky is a gorgeous bunny I would have loved to have had a rabbit but they are illegal to keep as pets in Queesnland
Slinky is a lovely bunny. The ferret I had for nine years was named Slinky, so I'm quite fond of it.
Cute bunny
Slinky is so beautiful I love the colour and markings.
Hugs
Carolyn
Such an handsome guy, well done you on giving him a loving home.
Hugs, Jane.
Slinky thanks you all for the compliments. We really do get along quite well.
Sue Ann, I can see a ferret named Slinky, but it doesn't seem quite fitting a rabbit. But that is the name he came with, so I'll just leave it.
I didn't realize that it is illegal to keep pet rabbits in Queensland. There are many times that I would agree with that law, like shortly after Easter when people begin to dump those "cute little Easter bunnies" that they have grown tired of. I just hate to see the bunnies and ducks for sale at Easter because I know where most of them will end up when the novelty wears off.
He's very pretty. Nice of you to take him in and give him a new home.
