Chocolate is derived from cocoa beans...Bean =Vegetable

Sugar is derived from either sugar cane or sugar beet.
Both of them are plants, in the vegetable category, thus, chocolate is a vegetable.
To go one step further, chocolate bars contain milk, which is dairy. So candy bars are a health food.
Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries  all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.

I could not live without chocolate...
chocolate is good for health: it contains a lot of magnesium. Magnesium is good for your brain and helps you sleeping better as it has relaxing properties.

So eat chocolate!

Beary hugs,
Sophie.

I am constantly amazed by how many chocoholics are on this list, myself included. I am so bad that I will squirrel it around the house so no one else can get it- how bad is that?????????

I bought a large tin of chocolates a couple of years ago at Christmas intending to give them to my sister-in-law and husband. When I got home from a show the tin was half empty. My husband had opened it and because he felt guilty he kept offering the chocolates to the boys who ate them without realising what was going on. His excuse...'well the boys wanted one.'  Hum, hum!!!!!!

I confess that many times I have bought packages of milk chocolate chips to make cookies for the kids.  Well....they never last that long.  What can I saw I'm addicted too.  h025.gif

Oh,Tammy,I do that too   Please don't tell my family  bear_cry I just can't help myself, after I eat the first handful(very small handful),well there just is not enough left in the bag to make cookies, who wants to eat a batch of cookies that have ten chocolate chips missing from the batch. So really, aren't I doing them a favour by eating the rest of the bag? Huh?? Well just think how upset and traumatized they would be.Right!!???
Anyway, cookies are not good for them, they really should eat healthy food... Oh I'm such a good Mommy..... bear_innocent

Sometimes the kids find them, so I have to find a new place

Jane glad that you gave us that useful information and now we will not feel bad when we are

Ohhhhh! I LOVE chocolate! Especially chocolate covered nuts. Nuts have protein and good fats, therfore, they are the perfect food. Right?! I know I could live on them!  bear_wub

bear_grin Marie, I'm the same way!   bear_grin Who could eat such a cute little chocolate bear??  bear_cry  You'll have to find a different shape for your chocolates this year.

And if it is counted as a vegetable...then there should be NO calories, right?  Okay, maybe just a few  bear_grin
