ohhh, we saw some on Sunday, was amazing. They reminded me of some sort of Victorian paper craft, sort of a cross between quilling and something that I can't put my finger on.

Absolutely stunning!! bear_wub
When we first moved here (20 years ago) the farm house which now is a school had peacocks. The owner had a beautiful white one that would eat out of my hand. Very tame however she told me the white ones are only females. I knew all peacocks with the big beautiful tails, be it white or colored are males. The females are called Peahens and do not possess the beautiful tails. I never could figure out why she told me that. bear_rolleyes
A bit of trivia; The white ones do not seem to thrive in the wild. Most only being found in captivity. I guess the white tails make them an easy target for predators.  bear_cry

bear_wub  bear_wub Ahhhh, the white P's are gorgeous!  The breeder who I bought my Indian Blues from had these also.  They were quite a bit more expensive, but so beautiful that I was wishing I could have them.
