DoodlebearsInteresting, but seeing it only takes a few seconds to peal a potatoe then I won't be doing it the new way. 
Just think of the time you take getting ice, tongs and the bowl ready and then fiddling about... well the potatoes could be boiling and you'd have less washing up.
