I've updated my blog with tons of pictures from our holiday in Lancaster, PA., in case anyone is interested in seeing some of the scenery. What a gorgeous place! http://duffyantiques.blogspot.com/

Oh Brenda, Your pictures are so beautiful. I am from Pennsylvania, and when I see the farm houses and the corn fields, well I get a little homesick. How nice you go visit there often.
As much as I love Arizona I will always miss the simple country life of PA. Thanks for the memories

Thanks for sharing, Brenda!
I enjoyed a lot the tour.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
What a wonderful way to see Lancaster, I live in New Jersey and do not even get there, but your pictures and commentary were the best. I love the roads and rolling hills and I bet the horse and buggy ride was great. As a child, my Mom used to take us on Saturday or Sunday drives and we did a lot of traveling in Pennsylvania, seeing the Amish and getting sho fly pie, a favorite still today.
So thanx for the memories.
Thanks, everyone! I can understand the pictures bringing back memories - it is a simpler style of life. I think that's why we love it so much!
hugs,
Brenda
Great pictures Brenda!
Thanks for sharing.
Superb...gosh it looks wonderful !!
It certainly brought back pleasant memories for me, too. Back in 2006, a group of ladies that I ran around with in high school went to visit another one of our former classmates in Swarthmore, PA. She took us on a tour of Lancaster Co., and it was a wonderful experience. Fantastic for all artsy/craftsy people.
Thanks, girls! Sue Ann, it really is the most lovely place, isn't it!
hugs,
Brenda
