Somewhat bleary-eyed New Year Greetings.........There is NO chance of going to bed early on N.Y.Eve here, with everyone out on the streets letting off fireworks - sounded like the outbreak of WW3! As usual ,we were INDOORS trying to reassure our poor little cat who was having her annual nervous breakdown.
I hope that 2010 will be a great year for you all

Happy new year to you. I know what you mean about the fireworks, they started here about 11:30, obviously warming up lol
Happy New Year to you, too!
Here, we had a lot of fireworks, too. I hope your poor little cat has recovered from her breakdown already.
Happy New Year Maria!
It was the same here, so many fireworks...I stayed up until the early hours with two very nervous little kittens!
Wishing you a great 2010!!!
Hugs Yvonne
Dear Maria,
Whenever I see fireworks, I always think about the poor animals who must be terrified by it all.
I hope your cat is recovering from her nervous breakdown and gets a lot of TLC in compensation !
Anyway, have a splendid :
A big hug

Fuchsia cat would like me to thank you all for your concern (!) and say that she is FINE now..........but it was pretty scarey.
And Peter - I agree - it's really bad for all the animals - they don't KNOW that fireworks are just meant to be fun..........
hope your kitties are OK too, Yvonne!
