Emma-and-Christopher-003.JPGThese two make four that I have made from the pattern of the sad bear I inadvertently destroyed.  I am having fun dressing them, I am used to making bare bears.  Clothing tests my machine sewing skills a little more.  The girl bear is most like the original bear, I had actually had this fabric to fix the original, but it was just not to be.
I am back now to my more realistic work, but I will be sneaking this pattern in from time to time.

What a blessing "old bear" turned out to be.  He gave himself so you could  have the pattern to produce these beautiful bears in his honor!

I LOVE them both!!  bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_wub  I am especially smitten with the girl bear!   bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_wub And since I'm not particularly a girly-girl, that's saying something!

Thank you everyone.

Cheryl, the girl bear looks most like the original bear,  I found that fabric quite a while ago in hopes of repairing the old bear, it is almost an exact match.

Christopher & Emma are absolutely adorable, Joanne, I love them both as well !   bear_wub

I don't know why, but if I had to choose one (I should be so lucky  bear_grin ), Emma would be my favourite.
I think it may have to do with her very long muzzle, combined with the short arms, that gives her (and Christopher as well) a very endearing quality.  I most definitely hope we will see more of these bears !

They are very cute, so funny and happy. Especialy outfits, I like to dress bears to. But they are so different from your usualy bears (I love them endless)

These 'old bears' are perfectly charming. They have adorable faces and their clothes look very smart indeed! You should definitely be sneaking a few more of these beauties into your sewing schedule.  bear_original
