Why Smarty? Because in my chilhood there was an animation with a small white bear called Smarty. When I made this bear, he so much looked like Smarty from animation, that I had no doubts to give him this name. He is really smart. You can imagine, he found a pelerine from his grandgrandfather, who has worked in a circus. The pelerine is little bit dusty, a little bit dirty with rusty bells but very nice for Smarty and he decided to wear it Although Smarty is very clean bear by himself but he likes his grandgrandfather’s pelerine so much…
Smarty – 9,5″ bear, made from special bear material – mohair, with five cotterpin joints , German glass eyes, felted eye lids, embroidered and waxed nose, paws from supersuede, face and body slightly shaded. Smarty wears satin double pelerine aged with oil paint , with three small and one big rusty bells and cotton satin ribbons.
Adorable! (I really like the picture of Smarty standing on his head. )
