sorry no one has answered, I have no idea, there are lots of books out there that tell about bears, not my expretise....But! I love the bear.........
The bear doesn't look familiar to me, but Ebay listings can be a good place to browse/search.

Need a closeup of the face? Is it a center seam head or not? I'm guessing it's a Muffy bear from North American Bear Co.
