Hi Everyone,

I started both my second and third needle feltings at about the same time and wanted to share what I have so far.  Humpty Dumpty is completed and the rocking horse is just waiting for a freind to cut out the wooden rails for me. The rocking horse was a very large project and I dont think I will attempt anything quite that size for a while, but I really really enojyed the process and have learned so much along the way. Alot of people ask how many years I have been doing this and I am being very honest when I say that I never picked up a felting needle or bear material until May of this year. I am very excited to see where this takes me as I would love to get better and better and eventually make a living doing this. Thank you again to the freinds I have made on here and the great words of encouragement from you all. I am so inspired by the wealth of talent that is displayed on this website!

Both Humpty and the rocking horse are solid needle felting including Humpty's hat.  I made all of his clothes by hand as well as the real leather saddle, bridal and reigns for the horse. They are both shaded with various colors of merino wool roving and some acrylic paint. Both have glass eyes. Humpty is about 12 inches (30 cm) sitting and the rocking horse is about 3 feet long (1 meter) and stands about 2 feet high before the wooden rails are added.
