Posts: 233Just thought I'd add a little tale.. weve just come back from a few days in Portugal .. where ,I treated myself to a lovely reel of a perfect sort of neutral shade of cotton that would have cost about £15 here I would think ... only to find that our Cavapoo , Bertie, has just demolished it . I didn't know whether to laugh or cry , but after watching him skulk away , totally ashamed , well that's what I'm kidding myself anyway I couldn't help but laugh !
Why is it these dogs know exactly what expression to use , I reckon they practice in the mirror ! Oh my lovely cotton! 
As my niece said , you wouldn't have got away with that if you were ugly !! He would have with me though cos I'm a soft touch ! 
The Littlest ThistleIf you're after pure cotton thread, google Aurifil, it's mostly targeted at quilters, but a reel seems to last forever!
