I made a few dragons as Christmas presents this year, and I wanted to show them off bear_original I'll probably be putting them all up over the next few days. This first one is named Aurora. She's an all-white dragon painted with accents that fade from blue to purple.

Such a beautiful dragon! And so smooth. I always wonder if using ultrasuede/sensuede would cause wrinkles along the seams. Do you have any trouble with that?

Thank you! I've never had any problems with the ultrasuede wrinkling. It's absolutely the best material out there for these dragons. I use the thinnest ultrasuede I can find, and I've found it's very forgiving. It hides the seams well because it just blends into itself so well. It also stays soft and flexible and fills out really well when stuffed. For this kind of project, at least, it's perfect. I don't know how it would work on something else. These guys are handsewn and average about 4 inches long, from nose to tip of tail.
