Hi everybody,

Due to recent deaths in the family, I'm going to be moving within about a year, in order to be closer to my remaining relatives. This is definitely going to mean a smaller house, so I need to part with some of my collection. Has anyone here ever done this? I only have one artist bear that I'm planning on getting rid of. The others are random eBay finds over the years. Where would you guys go to sell your collections? Ebay? An estate sale?

Back in the '90s I had to disperse my collection after developing an allergy to Mohair. I gifted some to bear loving friends and sold the rest on on Ebay.  The fees on Ebay are quite a bit higher now than back then.  You could try selling on Etsy and/or Ruby Lane which do not have the high fees....but of course these sites do not get the amount of traffic Ebay gets.

Good luck and best wishes on your new life phase. bear_original
