Back Road BearsI'm trying to find nice decorative type boxes... nesting type boxes. They can be solid color, even paper mache, or colorful. I want ones with separate lids and they MUST come in sizes large enough for a 15" bear!
I've looked on Darice's website... they only sell small boxes.
I know what I want exists.
They're likely to be made of cardboard.
I plan to use them for display.
Anyone know what I mean and where to find them?
Bears by JodiGo to a paper out let place. Or check with a craft store would be my guess. I have seen them at both. Good luck !!

Are you looking for those stacking/nesting boxes that go from tiny to larger and usually come in a pattern or a theme (like americana, kitchen stuff, bears, etc) OR are you looking for those old fashioned/vintage doll boxes?? I'm looking for those longer doll boxes with lids if anyone knows where to find....I'm still looking. I thought floral boxes might do it, but they might be too thin width wise.
Do you want the bear to be able to sit up comfortably in or on the box??

I have looked for boxes for awhile now. I found some places that do them - display boxes, there are many different types, dye boxes, window display etc. The only problem is they are very expensive. I could not justify the expense if I was not putting them in stories etc. If you are interested Daphne, I will forward the links here later. I have to relocate them on a cd of favorites.

Love Bud Bears by SandyHere's a couple place that I've ordered from, hope these boxes are what your looking for.
In the Jeresy & PA area they only sell small shirt boxes with seperat lids at the following stores. You will not find any thing a bear will fit into at-
Jo Anns'- AC Moore - Halmark Stores or the Dollar Stores- trust me I've searched them all.

Posts: 280Hi Daphne. The link to U-line didn't work. Do you have the item number, and I'll look in my U-line catalog to see what it is you are looking for.
If you want really fun, nesting boxes, go to www.lang.com and look at their boxes. Their 5-stack gift boxes would easily accommodate a 15" bear, and some of their hat boxes will too. These boxes are exceptionally well made. I've had mine for year.
I don't know if you might have Ross stores where you are, but ours always have the nesting boxes.
