scooter races?
Tomorrow, my scooter racing team and I will leave to Normandy where we will attend a 24 hour scooter race (this time ONLY scooters).
If I don't forget my cameras and tripod and if the weather conditions etc are favorable, i should take again lots of pictures.
This will be my first 24 hour race. Of course, I will only be doing the reporter and supporter and help the more I can. i am not a pilot myself!
Our scooter is ready and faster than ever (not cheating there). I was there when they tried it the first time after all repairs and changes. It reached 110,4 km/hour, which is very good for a scooter.
So far, our pilots managed to finish all 24 hour races they attended, so I am very confident.
Valentino, the mascott bear, is very excited and will be spending his first nights in the tent (two nights).
We will be leaving tomorrow afternoon. while I am writting, Malko and François went to Lacen's home to load the van (François and Lacen are two of the pilots).
There will be two other pilots: Greg, who comes from Martinique each year for the 24 h race, and Stephane. I never met them.
There will be another 6 hour race the 10th of September in Le Mans.
So who wants more live reports about scooter races?
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Of course we will Sophie...I love your reports and the photos that go with them!!!
