Okay, I finally got a photo of myself up, but appear to be one of only a few that just has a photo.  Seems that everyone else has posted something entirely different, with graphics, their business name, etc., all incorporated to look more like a "card".  Are these made using computer graphic programs, then scanned in as jpgs?  I'd like to incorporate my logo, bears, etc., as well, but want to be sure I'm on the right track first.  Thanks for any help that can be offered!

Hi Luann, I did mine in photoshop, but I am sure you could use the photo program that you have in your computer... using the mountains from a photo that I had of them and then incorporating the bear into that picture and saved as a jpg...of course I had to do some croping on both photo's ..  I hope you can understand what I am saying, I really am not good at explaining things on here ...good luck

Thanks for the message about the avatar.  I may try and play around with it this weekend and see what I can come up with.

Also, thanks for the mention about the Bear Creations article.  It came out in Australia about 2 months ago, and I just received my magazine last week.  It was nice to get to finally see it, and I was pretty excited to finally get to really see it in print, though one of the girls had scanned a copy for me when it first came out. It's been about 10 months since I sent in the info, but I was still excited about it.

Hugs,
Luann

Hi Luann, I gather your are not computer savvy yet. Dont worry it will come. You wont be able to stop it bear_grin
Have a read of the posts in 'DIGITAL CHALLENGE'  Put aside some time to do this as well.
Go into your programs on your computer and have a little look around and try stuff out.
Dont let the computer scare you. If you muck things up and the screen freezes on you then just turn the bugga off. That usually teaches it a lesson.  A few choice words from the gutter helps as well at times.  bear_grin
And what ever you do.....DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS or have answers explained more fully.
This forum has the most talented brains in the bear world hanging out here. And at TT we love to share and help each other.
My avatar was made by scanning some sketches into my printer program then I opened it into my word program and did the graphics. I then took it back to my printer program resized and saved it so it was ready to post here.
I'm still learning all the functions within the programs.  It takes time.  But as I have aready mentioned,
The best advice you will ever need is at your disposal here On TEDDY TALK.
SO GO FORTH LUANN AND CREATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
