Well now that I have your attention!.... I am a wee bit cranky though.

I have 6 pandas and another special 18" order bear to finish by the end of the week for special orders.

Forgive me! I LOVE special orders but it can make it more like work and it can take a bit of the fun out of it! I really do not mean to complain. I really am not complaining! Really!!! I am blessed!! Truly! No need to reply just letting off al little steam as I am a wee bit stressed! MY OWE FAULT! And yes I am having a glass of MERLOT tonight (or two)! MERLOT can be a girls best friend in times of need! (No you guys do not have to start worrying about me!) Try it!

Aww, Louise....can you push the deadlines back a wee bit? Give yourself more time? I love commissions but agree with you that they can take the fun out of it (which is why I'm having a break from taking orders).

Oh Louise, I can imagine how stressed you feel. I feel stressed about one comission order at a time, let alone six!!  Plus I have a bear and a bag on the go at the same time which is stressing me becuase I like to have only ONE project on the go at the one time....  But, I'm lucky to be able to be doing what I'm doing, so no complaining over here either!

Relax, enjoy your one two or three glasses of Merlot!  Get Garnet to give you a back massage!

My dearest Louise, just you have a bottle of Merlot if you need it. I think most of us really take on too much sometimes, but then its what the bear business is all about. Swings and Roundabouts, we are either not doing much at all or overdoing it. You just keep well .

Chin up! You will feel SO relieved when you are done - your heels will
be inches above the earth! & then you better do something purely fun
& delightful as a reward!

If it's a matter of just getting your bum in the chair for a long haul of finishing
em, one thing that helps for me is audio books. The library has books on tape;
I get some mysteries like Patricia Cornwell or Janet Evanovich, & wanting to
hear how the story turns out keeps me at my task. Busy hands work leaves
enough of my brain free to attend to a story, & maybe yours is this kind of
work. I get the unabridged versions so you get at least 6 hours of story
& nothing is cut out.

Audio books work for long car trips too - The Green Mile, unabridged, got us
all the way to California  bear_grin

You had a fuzzy slippers night without me!!!   bear_sad   Name a night next week and you bring your Merlot and I'll sip my martini.   I'm sure there are other gals (and maybe a guy or two) that would love to join in with a beverage of their choice as well.  It would be so much fun to have an "almost live" chat.  Well?  It would definitely take away some of the stress!
