I have finished Valentino this afternoon and i am so excited!
I am very pleased with the result and i look forward to show him to his dad!
I will probably make him some outfit but i want first to ask his dad's opinion.
He is about 22,5 cm tall. I made him with camel synthetic fur with 20 mm pile.
He has English charcoal glass eyes with clack pupils. I made him leather paw pads and foot pads. That was the first time I was using leather and was very hard to sew but the result worths the pain! Before using the leather I cleaned it with water and milk lotion and let it dry.
He is firmly stuffed with polyester fibers in his head, legs and arms; and with a mix of heavy uncarded polyester, plastic beads and steel baeds in his tummy to give him a nice weight.
He is fully jointed with nut and bolts joints.
He has bent legs so he can ride more easily a scooter (he dreams of having his own one!).
He has got embroided nose and mouth with brown cotton thread.
I have scissor sulpted his face.
Finally, i have added some shading with Marabu textil pens and paints.
He has got a jingle bell in each ear.
Valentino is named after the motorbike (500 cube cm) world champion.
He will be the mascot of Coulaines Moto-Cycles racing scooter team. the owner of the workshop is our friend and a racing scooter pilot and I wanted the team to have a mascot to give them luck.
The next race is the coming sunday: a 6 hours race in Le Mans near the famous racing circuit.

Thank you so much for your nice comments!
Today, I added some polish on his paw pads and foot pads and rubbed them so they became shiny...
