mini-small-tt.jpggolden-boy-copy.jpgpeanuts-copy-tt.jpgToffee-copy-tt.jpggolden-boy-face-copy.jpgSome bears that I have been working on.
The mini bear is made from alpaca and I tried an applied mouth for the first time on a small bear,it was hard work and he is rather thirsty, hence his tongue hanging to the one  side.
The two little brown bears, my husband is kidnapping and taking with him to the Phillipines today as a gift for his colleague there. They are both maade from Schulte mohair.
The golden boy, will also be heading off in my husband's direction as he also wants this as a gift. The eyes I used on this bear(12mm) are from 1902, and are original shoe button eyes. I bought them from a shop, Ancestral Bears in the UK, which has since closed. They had been stored in chalk for all these years. Presently I must have 12 pairs still, plus lots of 8,9,10mm orginal shoe button eyes which I purchased from Elizabeth.I use these on special bears. This bear is also made from Schulte mohair.
