She's made out of the completely awesome mohair that Marion sent me!   :hug:  bear_wub  Thank you, Marion!!!  She is done from the 'big pocket bear' pattern, and there's a pic of her with her 'twin' (??!??!?) brother. lol  It just still awes me how the very same pattern can yield such different results!!  Anyway, here she is, my fourth show bear!

She is so cute, Kimberly! And thanks for showing two from the same pattern...you're right--they're so different! I remember back in the '90s when ILTBC was still doing shows that they would have five artists use the same fur and the same pattern--and they all came out so different! I loved that part of the show.

Keep up the great work; you'll be ready for that show in no time.

What a cute couple of bears :clap:  !! I would not be able to choose one!! Your noses are soooooooo great!! That is the part of bear making that i still don't enjoy as much. I like to do diferent noses, they can add to the bear a lot . I have my "times" when my noses come out perfect and then...Other times I have to said forget it and give the bear one sculp nose.  What show are you getting ready for?

Thank you, ladies, for such sweet words.  I Do love that mohair from Marion; I'll have to find out what kind it is!  It's nice and dense and a nice length for this size bear!

Gladys,  I actually enjoy doing the noses; my 'tough spot' are the paw pads!  I actually sometimes groan when I know I have to put those on! lol  I am preparing for the Teddy Bear show next month in Columbus Ohio on saturday July 15 and Ann Arbor Michigan on Sunday July 16.  They are hosted by Brightstar.

Jeannie, bear_original  :hug: She'll be traveling first class all they way! :P

Ooo, I just thought: I need to take a pic of Marion's bear and her before we go!  Their colors almost match perfectly! lol
