Hello everyone,
I thought I'd share my little needle felted raccoon with you all; this one will be the last one I'll post on TT. I don't want to gum up the Showcase with all these bears; I do so much appreciate all the comments but feel badly that I don't have time to post in everyone else's threads. I have seen SO many great bears!!!! Also, I suppose that for anyone who will be attending the show, I SHOULD have some surprises! lol
Thank you all again for your wonderful comments; I think I might have a hard time letting this little guy go! He sits just a smidgen over 5 inches tall. Oo, good name! I think I'll call him 'Smidgen'!

 thanks, Renae.... I just read your other post, too... I love the quirky, sometimes quizzical looks on raccoons' faces. They are so full of expression.... trouble! lol

Wow, wow, wow, Kimberly!!! I love Smidgen! I can't wait for you to do this show so I can hear how it went. I know the collectors will be enamored with your work.
Bear hugs,
Debora
I just had to pop in for another look. He's just soooooo sweet!
Wow! He is outstanding! How do you do that?
Many Hugs Louise
These are awesome! I love to see them all!
Only a Big
What a great work! O love this tiny wonderful raccoon!
Oh, thank you ladies sooo much!
My 2 daughters have given him what has now become the 'Bear' Bottoms initiating hug and kiss on the nose. No bear may pass through this home and leave here without it. Hmmm, I wonder if I need to note that in eBay descriptions.... 'Bear is in smoke free environment and away from any pets.... but has been hugged and kissed firmly on the nose by my children.' lol

Kim! he is so cute! And what a wonderful little expression

Hee hee, Renae, you're making me blush!!!! Yes, all of my little ones get a nice firm smooch on the nose and a hug by both of my girls before they're off. I'd hesitated mentioning it in my auctions just in case there were people who didn't want any kids, etc. fondling their collector's piece. But I think I'm just going to get over that silly thought and mention it anyway.
Besides, I certainly don't let them do it right after they've chowed on a peanut butter sandwich or guzzled milk! lol I have a story about that one, too... I'll have to save for later. I'll just say this... My kids certainly know what they've got to do before handling my furry babies!
Sarah... Thank you!!!!

Hi there Kimberly,
Just came home from seeing "Over the Hedge" at my girlfriends...the racoon looked just like yours...cute and cuddly...great movie for critter ideas!
Big hugs,
Sandi
hi Sandi,
I haven't seen that one yet, but I've heard that it's super cute! With two little ones at home, we never have a chance to go see movies out. Instead, I'll bet I could sing you the entire theme song to The Berenstain Bears, Kipper the Dog, and Dragon Tales, among others.... lol Also, I find myself playing the song to Angelina Bellerina over in my head whilst I make dinner..... ha!
Kimberly W.
Oh Kimberly, you have just have to go and see it...you and the kids would love it. You will all have a good laugh and you'll come away so inspired to do more little critters.
Big hugs,
Sandi
Look what I found for you...
Big hugs,
Sandi
Kim, I should think your hands are on fire!!! I have really enjoyed seeing all the bears getting ready for the show. After the show will you send me the pics of the surprise ones...since I won't get to see them here?!?
