I would like to introduce to you, NELSON. I just finished him this morning. While the day was still nice, I was able to take some pics.  Glad I did because it is absolutely miserable now and looks like it is going to get worse.  But to brighten my day, Nelson sits here looking oh soooo cute.  He is for my sister. It will be her 50th next month on the 7th. And seeing she is one of my biggest fans..............
Nelson is wetlook mohair with hand felted and dyed felt contrast fabric. I did 'Judi paw pads' on this one.
And I made a dangly from sterling silver findings, chain and a green freshwater pearl with mother of pearl hearts.  I love him. I am just sooo pleased he turned out the way he has. I have no anxiety over how my sister is going to recieve him. I'm all excited!!! :dance:  :dance:  :dance:
I may think some are cute, I may have doubts about some but this one...... I have no doubts at all.

I like that spikey mohair and although I've never used it myself, I have seen some really great creations made with it.
Nelson ... short for The Admiral Horatio? I'm rather partial to sailors you know.
