HI everyone...sorry , I have not posted for a long time,, June was not a good month for me as my COPD really got out of hand and I ended up at the hospital 2 times. They kept me for about a week and a half.
I am at home now getting better...lots of rest.
I am taking this time to " clean out" all my stuff as my family is going to tear out the carpeting and lay wood floors in our mobile home ...this old carpet holds too much dust and dust mites which affects my asthma which triggers the COPD to act up too. Missed you all so much.....Winney

I'm so glad you're back and feeling better, Winney--hard floors make a huge difference. I roll up all my rugs for the summer. We don't have asthma, but we have shedding animals who bring in all sorts of dirt. Hardwood floors are a breeze to keep clean by comparison.

By spring the rugs smell really doggy. I vacuum the rugs thoroughly every June, hang them outside on the line, and then beat the dickens out of them. You would not believe how much dust is still in there!! I've got a rug-beater, but a broom works better.

No matter how much you clean or shampoo carpets, they are never truly clean. I think the wood floors will work much better for you. Glad your family is there to help you!
