I got to thinking that the first person not a Help Advisor to post a piccy should win! h025.gif

What do you guys think?

Or maybe it should be the last person to post a piccy?

Or the person from the most remote location?

Any Thoughts?

Nope-sorry, I'm not sending chocolate to all of you! Golly gee whiz are you guys silly-besides the Gollies would have a fit if all the chocolate dissappeared from the GollyHouse!

Maybe give a due date for photo submission, create it's own topic where people can post their pics and make a challenge of it....like most original location for the picture, most creative shot, or something. (??)

I was just in a local bookstore and they had a book at the counter....108 ways to transform a tshirt.  I guess if your shirts starts to get older looking, or if it's too big you could always make it into something else!!

I just ordered mine yesterday...I had to wait until I needed some supplies  bear_original

Also the lable states "Gildan Active Wear...Ultra Cotton"

Well, now I'm even more unsure what size to order - checked some of my shirts and I have two that are "Gildan Active Wear - Ultra Cotton" - one is a size large and one a size medium and they are both EXACTLY the same size except for length!!!! The large is a few years old and the medium is new (from my high school reunion that I just attended). The medium is longer as these type of shirts seem to shrink mainly in the length when washed - think I'll have to throw the new one in the wash and see if it shrinks in the width too or if they have changed the sizing of their shirts. I sure hope there are still some shirts left by the time I get this figured out!!!  bear_grin

Bear hugs, Edie
P.S. Thanks ladies, for modeling the shirts - great to see what they look like on!

Excellent idea....

So I propose 1 month from today....our friends overseas need time for the post to get there.

And your idea about the picture in the most unusual place....lets say the most fun place within 10 miles of where each person lives.   What's unusual to me may seem really blase to one who lives on the beach or in New York City or Perth or.......So Pick your funnest place and I'll see what Quy can drum up......

Its a challenge ladies and the chocolate is back on the table!!!!

Just a note on size.... contrary to what others say, I got mine and it's HUGE!!! I ordered an XL thinking heavy weight cotton... it'll shrink. Normally I'd order a large as I like things roomy. Well, this XL comes almost to my knees and the sleeves to my elbows! I could be pregnant with triplets and they'd all fit too! It will be a wonderful night shirt and I'm ordering another one I can wear in public.... probably a medium!!!

Here is my new TT shirt that I am wearing for the first time today !!!

.  I've had some wonderful experiences at this TT forum.

First the swim suit picture.....my favorite place lately is the kiddy pool in my back yard ! Ah the humidity is a killer.   But I gotta be a safe swimmer ya know !    I darn near got stuck in that stupid tube too.
Gaby I thought about the wet tshirt idea, but lucky for all of you I didn't want to make anyone sick.

To be kind and considerate I wanted to be sure our friends " Down Under" could read my shirt too   .  Yes I really did hang from that tree and I have the scrapped legs to prove it. Sheesh I'm too old for that stuff.  Now no comments about the huge butt  bear_whistle

So did I win the chocolate,  Oh I'd do anything for chocolate  bear_tongue

Well today when I did the shopping I decided that the first person from this side of the aorld and the first person from over seas....so I bought 2.....my hubby was looking at them with very greedy guss eyes....oh he really was.....

I did this because otherwise the folks here have an advantage over our friends in Australia or Kuala Lampur or England or Scotland or......

They were expensive, these Candy Bars....but I wanted one so badly,  I figured if I wanted one other chocolate people might like them too.....i know these taste wonderfulll.....maybe next week I can get another one.....to share with the hubs....

but my friends I only got 2.....and I wont be going back for a week....

so Tammy while I think you had a great piccy....I really think Sonya had the first piccy here....on our side of the world.....but send me your address....strange things can happen.....

Tt-shirt-floating-sized.JPGTT-shirt-me-house-3sized.JPGTTshirt-fallshouse-2-sized.JPGI got my TT t-shirt yesterday and got some photos taken. I ordered the large but I should have gotten the medium - I even shrunk it before I did the photos but it is still really big. Course I'd rather have it big than too small - hate tight things! Love the quality of the shirt!

It's great as a swim cover up - as you'll see in the last photo of our floating cocktail hour on the river! Took all the photos right around our place showing the river, the falls just downstream, and our house.

Tammy, your pictures are hilarious!!! It looks like you are having way too much fun

Wow Edie! That's the life!   You live in a very pretty place, I would love to live on or near a river.

Edie what are you drinking?  What a truly lovely area you live in!  Fantastic!I love the floatboat.....that would be fun....Is this your house then?

chrissibrinkley Posts: 1,836

Edie your last photo is GREAT!! What an amazing view you have...waterfalls, little bridges, mountains and wide open space!!  It's just gorgeous!

TT-shirt-falls-house-sized.JPGYes, it is a gorgeous part of the country - we are just in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies so those are the Rocky Mountains you see in the background. And yes, Dilu that is our house, and I am drinking a tequilla cooler (in the previously posted photo of floating cocktail hour - by the way, I am not drinking alone as my husband joined me as soon as he finished taking the photo! *grin*).

Chrissi, that is not actually such a "little" bridge - it is a train bridge - yes we have trains too - that close! But we actually love them and they don't keep us awake at night - other than the odd sadistic engineer who decides to lay on his whistle at 3:00 A.M.!

Terrie, the river runs right through our property and is one of the best trout streams around here so usually lots of fishermen around - but I've yet to eat any fish from it! Being this close to the water makes it a lot cooler on really hot days - plus you can always jump in to cool off as there are lots of shallow places for swimming where the current is less and no danger of getting swept over the falls!

I am posting another photo that didn't turn out as clear but maybe puts it all in a bit better perspective - the little black and white dot in the middle is me in my TT shirt! LOL!
Bear hugs, Edie
