My best wishes are heading your way, Kim, for an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. I'm sorry you feel so badly. If it's an ulcer, I think all you'll need to do is take antibiotics for awhile. I do hope it gets resolved soon. Happy baby making!!
Hope that you are feeling better soon, Kim, and that the doctors can solve the problem so that you can get on with starting a family.
Bear hugs, Edie
Ohhh dear, my sweet Kimmy  I hope you get better and find out the reason. My best wishes to you and do take care of yourself
Thank you sweet sweet girls!!!  I still feel "odd" and not myself but my hubby said the medicine could take 4 days before I feel it making me better.... I am still afraid that there is "something else" wrong... I guess I am afraid of not knowing what is going on and not getting any relief.... If I knew exactly what was wrong, I wouldn't be so scared, then I would know how to handle it...
Dilu, I did have an ultrasound about a month ago and I do have an ovarian cyst, they do know that but the stomach ulcer hasn't been "officially" diagnosed... I just explained my symptoms and was given Priolsec... we shall see
I will have to talk to my gyno today and see if maybe the cyst is causing some of my symptoms (I don't trust the gals who answer the phone - I was told that a cyst can't make you nauseous but I was told by people who have had them, including my mom, that it CAN!) who knows... I hope a lot of questions will be answered today at the gyno (wish me luck  )
Aw, Kim! I missed this post somehow. I really am sorry that you're feeling bad, I hope they can find the real problem and get it fixed ASAP! sending good vibes your way!
Big hugs to you!!
I think things are getting back on track (I HOPE  )... was at gyno and she made me feel LOTS better.. by the way, she said the cyst is sooo small that it should go away on its own and it is so tiny that she couldnt even feel it in the (dreaded yearly) exam... LOL... I am on my 3rd day of Prilosec so we shall see how it goes..

Glad the gyno visit went well, Kim. I hope you are back to your usually bubbly self very soon!
(still sending healing vibes your way!)
 Sea Level, eh? My gyno just advised a glass of neat whiskey!! Those were the days--it worked. After that I just had to think about babies and I got preggers!
Kim I'm sorry I haven't posted yet, I am so sorry to hear all this...huge ((((hugggs)))...I'm glad that the cyst shouldn't be a worry but you can't keep feeling this bad...huge hugs again and please keep pestering the docs if there are no answers...sometimes it just takes the right specialist who has just studied the right thing to figure it out...
ughh...feel for you and hope you feel much better soon

Kim ~
If there's some good news, it's that in your area there are probably LOTS of excellent doctors ... or not far away anyway.
Take care. I'm wish all the best for you.
Well girls, I wanted to let you know that I went OVER MY DOCTORS' HEAD and am seeing a stomach specialist tomorrow.. and if they find something that is wrong, I am calling my dr., telling them what is wrong and asking to have my file transferred... I will not put up with being lead in circles when I KNOW something is wrong (I am not one to go to the doctor) Thank you for all the well wishes
I'm glad your gyno check was OK!
Then (as I told ) you go "exercise" with your collegue at your work!
And I'm sure in the near future you will be amazed by some reason
Take care
Big hugs,
Julia
LOL... Julia, you crack me up!!! I have to go find the water cup!!! HE HE HE
 Good for you, Kim!!
    Oh Kimmy, I'm so sorry you are feeling so rotten! And I'm glad you went over your doctor's head to see a specialist. Sometimes that needs to be done! More often than it should, really. You know you have a good GP when they send you on to a specialist right away instead of messing around with something they can only guess at. We had one like that here once, but he moved away darn it.
Hope you get some answers soon and can start to feel better so you can get on with better things! Lots of hugs coming your way..........
