Hi all,

I thought I would share my first black bear with you all.  I did him in the open-mouth design like the other for the show (who found a wonderful home; yay!)

He's made with Intercal's 370s/c in.... black lol with amber eyes and ultrasuede whites to give him that 'looking up' appearance. His tongue is also ultrasuede and his arms are armatured for all that fun posing stuff!

I am thinking I might have come onto a design I'm happy with and I'll stick with.  Any feedback would be lovely, ladies! :)

Oh yeah, I almost forgot... He stands at 14 inches tall.

Still debating over whether or not I'll list him on eBay.

Hi ladies,

Thanks so much.   Well, in light of the big problem with photographing black bears, I've found that my front porch, early afternoon works well... so if any of you want to drop by and use this area, welcome!!! LOL

Great black bear and pictures! The black bears really catch the eye!! If he was mine I'd keep him....at the same time, it would be good to see your black open-mouthed bear auction!

He is just a beautiful bear.  Perfect choice of eyes, and I love the brown on his footpads in contrast to the black fur.  If he were mine, I don't think I could part with him.  He's glorious.

Very, very nice! What a sweet little bear.
Your photography shows him up really well and that's not easy with a black fabric. You ask Dilu about those little gollies. I have to be very careful when I photograph the gollies that I make so I know just how awkward it can be.

Cute! I am usually not too excited about open mouthed bears but yours is so cute!!!!! He looks like he is about to say something and is not sure he should. Great expression, he is so endearing.

Oh my he is just so cute and sweet, you have done a great job and i think your open mouthed design is really really good  :clap:  :clap:  KEEP HIM lol or you could always send him here for a holiday    lol
