We are going to but a new camera duty free when we go away in two weeks time. I have been eyeing off the Olympus SP500-UZ.
6.1 megapixels, 10 x optical zoom, macro and super macro down to 3cm. Great price at around $480 AUD.

Does anyone on the list have one of these to be able to give me feedback? There are plenty of good reviews on the net but there's nothing like getting a 'real' persons opinion!  :photo:

Hayley, it's not your model, but I have an Olympus Camedia C-5000 - 5.0 megapixels, 3x optical zoom.  I have nothing but good things to say about it.  I got it from www.overstock.com at a great price.  Sounds like you're getting a super deal, too.  Your model is newer than mine, so I'm sure it will be awesome!
